About Idaho Perio

Idaho Perio was founded in 2010 by Dr. Jace Hansen DMD, MS. In 2020 Dr. Kip Katseanes DMD, MSD, partnered with Dr. Hansen, and they have since welcomed Dr. Christopher Sprott, DMD to the Idaho Perio Family. We at Idaho Perio have very high standards for treating our patients with respect, integrity, and honesty. We strive to provide the best periodontal services with the most current technology. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards. IMPLANTS
Restore your smile by replacing missing teeth with dental implants. Our surgeons are trained for an additional 3 years after dental school to learn how to properly place implants. You can trust in Idaho Perio’s board certified surgeons to restore your smile, whether it’s a single missing tooth, or if you are looking to have implant supported dentures.
LANAP
Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP) is the only scientifically, research proven methodology that results in true periodontal regeneration, new bone growth and gum tissue reattachment.
SOFT TISSUE GRAFTING
Receding gums can lead to bone loss and tooth sensitivity when eating, drinking or brushing. Using a modified Chao Pinhole Technique, our doctors use tissue grafting to cover exposed roots or to thicken gum tissue to stop further recession.

EXTRACTIONS
As periodontists our job is to save teeth whenever possible, however there can be cases where a tooth cannot be restored and may need to be extracted. Whether it’s a simple extraction, or an extraction with a planned implant replacement, Idaho Perio will keep your end goals in mind when creating a custom treatment plan for you.
CROWN LENGTHENING
There are several restorative and cosmetic reasons a patient may want or need crown lengthening. Whether it is to reduce the tissue margin in order for your general dentist to place a crown, or you would like to aesthetically correct your “gummy” smile, our doctors are skilled in all types of crown lengthening procedures to help you feel confident in your smile.
BIOPSY
Every consult at our office includes an oral cancer screening. Sometimes lesions can appear in the mouth. Depending on size or location, our doctors may recommend a sample be taken and sent to a pathologist for further diagnosis.
